    Why I think Mr.Lincon said this quote because Mr.Lincon was going through tough times in his life, like the Civil War. I can imagine how Mr.Lincon felt during the Civil war, depressed, because of the war within his loved country, sad, because they might blame him if either side of the country loses, and finally ashamed, ashamed of the way he has been treating his country.

    When I'm going through tough times, I imagine myself in a place of peace, a place where there is no fights, war, or descrimination. Adversity gives me power to stand up for myself.

 I think this quote is great. The things that really make me laugh are, when a person that I hate falls really really funny and then awkwardly stands up and falls again!!!!!!!! I also laugh when my sister gets really frustrated for no reason at all!!! Finally, the thing that really makes me laugh is when somebody make a fool of themselves, by saying something really dumb, like my cousin Rodolfo (we call him Toto) said "nuh-nuh boo-boo," with his eyes crossed!! He looked hilarious!!!!!
